With reference to previous correspondence

conducted under Colonial Office reference No.53838/2/B/38,

I am commanded by the Air Council to acquaint you, for the

information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, in

confirmation of the telephone conversation between

Mr. H. R. Cowell and Wing Commander L. Darvall, M.C. on the

12th instant, that after further consideration they agree to

the use of Patheung aerodrome as a camp for Chinese

refugees should the necessity arise.

Information has since been received from the Air

Officer Commanding, Far East, that it is Patheung aerodrome

which it is desired to use.
